We like to think of ourselves as a patient care company rather than a DME and it’s that care that makes the difference with compliance. Our CPAP Circle of Care program and Download on Demand (DoD) software helps patients achieve compliance early in the therapy cycle and then remain compliant over the long term.
A focus on patient care is critical for PAP success. The American College of Physicians published a new clinical practice guideline regarding management of OSA on 09/24/13, highlighting OSA as a chronic condition that requires long-term and often life-time therapy. Despite its known benefits, adherence with PAP therapy remains problematic.
We continue to invest heavily in our compliance program with the development of our Download on Demand app and web portal which allow patients to actively help manage their own compliance. This includes a 14 day exception report that allows us to interdict non-compliance as early as possible after a patient starts therapy. The DoD app is available now on the iOS App Store (for both iPhone and iPad) and Google Play for Android.
By mid 2015 we will introduce a DoD portal for referring doctors, allowing you to search compliance for any of your patients and produce and print reports for any period you choose.
